In addition to being a lifetime superfan and connoisseur of baseball, Tom Axon is the founder, principal and visionary of several companies, including: Franklin Credit Management Co. and other partnerships that own properties and mortgages across the U.S. and Puerto Rico, with assets valued at over $2 billion, as well as RMTS LLC and related reinsurance companies, the country’s largest privately owned managing general underwriter of employer-sponsored medical insurance, with over $120 million in written annual premiums.

 

Tom is a graduate of Franklin & Marshal College and since 2018 a resident of Puerto Rico. Tom’s companies employ approximately 120 people, both on the mainland and on the island. His Puerto Rico operations are located in the San Juan district of Hato Rey, which also serves as the headquarters for Agencia Seguros Santurce LLC and Santurce Realty Inc. Tom is the proud past owner of the Santurce Cangrejeros professional baseball team and merchandise company, located in San Juan, and is engaged in federal-court litigation with the league to reacquire his wrongfully terminated ownership of the team.
